Everything we needed, like Visconti Castle was placed short way from the hotel. Ristorante Peo, located within 10 minutes' walk, is a good dining option. Perfect location, decent rates.

Good breakfast with lots of choices. The staff of excelsior went out of their way to make our stay nice. We could visit everything we needed like cathedral of pavia as it was walking distance to the hotel. We would recommend once again: )
